He was not concerned one bit about Drek's invasion because Kalebo III's defenses were "the best money can buy." Ratchet volunteered to be a star on their newest line of Hoverboards, by winning a hoverboard race. The CEO also gave him the Hologuise. He had a surprising appearance, resembling the salesman at the vendors of Ratchet & Clank.

Wendall Lumos, in Metropolis, planet Kerwan
In Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, there was an option to check your memory card for Ratchet & Clank save data and get a discount on Gadgetron products. Wendall Lumos appeared on the image which appeared when you highlighted the option. Wendall also said in Ratchet & Clank that the employee discount kicks in two years; Up Your Arsenal was released two years later.
