They were created by the Technomites to protect the temple's map room from intruders. Even though apparently very old, they were in good working order at the that time Ratchet and Clank visited Ryllus. They attacked intruders with a spiked club.They were apparently vastly superior to the Gadgetron Gadgebots.
Trivia
- The Technomite Guard Statues were capable of moving and recognizing enemies, which makes them more similar to robots than to statues. The Technomite Guard Statues themselves may very well be some kind of machine.
