- “ What did I tell you? No prison can hold Shiv Helix! ”
- ―Shiv escaping from Aleero City Penitentiary [R&C (PS4)]
Shiv Helix was a major criminal and Qwark's fellow cell-mate while he was incarcerated in the Aleero City Penitentiary. He has committed various crimes around the galaxy that has resulted in him doing time in various maximum security prisons.
Pre-Ratchet & Clank
Shiv Helix was a criminal who has spent time in some of the darkest maximum security prisons of the galaxy, The Eternity Pits of Zordoom, the Iron Holds of Novalis, and many other prisons, for various crimes.
Ratchet & Clank
While conversing, Shiv told Qwark about a holo-game based on a film based on his incident with Drek, Ratchet, and Clank. Qwark was upset about the fact that no one consulted him about it and that about nobody wanted to hear his side of the story. Helix felt pity for Qwark and wants to hear his story. Qwark, joyful, told Helix his story. Near to the conclusion of Qwark's tale, Helix waas shocked to learn that Qwark betrayed the Galactic Rangers just because of his jealously of Ratchet. Concluding his story, Qwark and Helix were seen outside the Hall of Heroes picking up litter. Helix had enjoyed the story, and Qwark, staring at his statue of his former self, began to wish he could be a true hero again. Ratchet and Clank showed up and greeted Qwark, and while they talked, Helix stole a Combuster out of the hands of a Galactic Ranger robot and began shooting down the other Galactic Ranger robots. He then proceeded to escape in Ratchet's ship. This concluded with Qwark, Ratchet, and Clank all working together and going after Helix, which is where Ratchet & Clank (PS4) ended.
