The term "Robonoid Commander v2" is conjectural. The real name is unknown, and a non-canonical nickname or title is used instead. See the reasons for this title in the "Behind the scenes" section below and/or the relevant discussion on the talk page, if they exist.

Robonoid Commander v2s were the most elite of all Robonoids, and were much stronger than their Robonoid Commander counterpart. They were originally Four-Eyed Tyhrranoids that were transformed into robots with the second Biobliterator.

In-game information

Behavior

Robonoid Commander V2's behavior was similar to that of its weaker counterparts in almost every degree; they were armed with a massive single-handed gun that shot a powerful blast of plasma that could travel a long distance at an incredible speed. The plasma given off by this gun dealt high damage and if they hit a surface, left a temporary hazard that could harm Ratchet. These guns could be fired up to five times before the Tyhrranoid had to reload. If Ratchet was too close it would try to pistol-whip him.

Unlike its previous variants however, none of these Commanders utilized jetpacks; this eliminates their vulnerability to stagger from losing one. This coupled with their incredibly high health and extreme strength, made them much more of a threat in hand-to-hand combat.

Tactics

Because of their extremely high health, high damaging weapons like the Flux Rifle or the Annihilator variants are recommended. Protection yourself from its attacks with the Holoshield Glove and/or the Shield Charger variants is also recommended.

Behind the scenes

The Tyhrranoid naming scheme involves them going from "v1" to "v2" as they are upgraded. Since this Robonoid is an upgrade to the Three-Eyed Robonoid, it is labelled as "v2."
