Operation Thunderbolt was one of the Galactic Ranger missions of Operation: ISLAND STRIKE on planet Tyhrranosis. It involved defeating an army of Tyhrranoids and Vulcan Turrets (with the Hovership) defending the middle island while the Galactic Rangers tried to figure out a way to disable the forcefield protecting the Tyhrranoid Base. It ends with the Galactic Ranger H26 sacrificing himself to disable the forcefield.
Walkthrough
Start by destroying all Vulcan turrets, to easily destroy all other enemies without having to dodge their missiles, start at the blue base and progress through towards the red base. Secondly, destroy all dropships, leaving just the ground tyhrranoids to easily dispose of; however, the Tyhrranoids have a large range but can still be easily avoided by hovering to the other side of the map .
