The Dr. Croid Guardian Bots, also known as friendly guardian bots, and usually just referred to as guardians, are large robots patented and developed by Frumpus Croid.[1] They guarded Terrawatt Forest. They are powered by protomorphic energy from the shards of planet Toranux.
One of them - named Leon - was taken over by Cronk and Zephyr using a Cranial Mood Reshifter, and the heroes rode on its back and used the machine's Fusion Cannons to defend themselves.

Before All 4 One[]
Originally built for usage in extracting the glowing shards of Terrawatt Forest (which were actually the remains of planet Toranux), the Guardians were repurposed as combat robots by Frumpus Croid following the Collectors assault on Uzo City. The Friendly Guardian Bots were successful in keeping Croid's base of operations in Terrawatt Forest secure, easily crushing Collector incursions in the region.

Leon before being equipped with a Cranial Mood Reshifter
After avoiding several Guardians, Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Nefarious activated one and managed to get him out Murder Mode using a Cranial Mood Reshifter, causing him to ally with them. Qwark proceeded to name him Leon, and he aided them in getting to their destination - battling several other Guardian Bots along the way.
Characteristics[]
Guardians are fitted with guardian cannons that were equipped with High-Powered lasers and Missiles Launchers on their back, Omegatron Tractor Beam eyes, Ion-Hand Cannons, and Ion-Chest Cannons.
When hostile, Guardians enter into "murder mode". Guardians are extremely powerful, with one easily taking out a Tank Minion in one shot. Some guard pathways with there Omegatron Tractor Beams that can kill a player if it spotted. Few things in Terawatt Forest are real threat to these machines, except for Fusion Cannons, Croid Bots and other Guardians. The Guardians weak spots are glowing red spots in its palm and chest plates, so aim the Fusion Turrets on them.
Behind the scenes[]
When typing in a code to open up the doors for Croid's Base in Terrawatt, Leon, the Friendly Guardian after a few seconds of typing will notice you looking at the typing pad. He will quickly cover the typing pad with one hand, angerly glaring at you from time to time until he finishes typing in the code.
