Max Apogee is a historical character mentioned in Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time. He was a famous explorer in the Polaris Galaxy who was a collector of rare interstellar antiquities, taking a keen interest in lombax technology, particularly the Dimensionator. He was the father of Talwyn Apogee, and owned the Apogee Space Station.
History[]
Max Apogee was a famous explorer and collector of rare antiquities, the most notable of which being the lombax artifact.[1] Though he claimed once to have found a Zoni temple, people were skeptical as he refused to create a holo-map to it.[2] He at some point became accomplices of Cronk and Zephyr, old lombax warbots from the Great War. Apogee was also a colleague and friend of Artemis Zogg.
Apogee founded Apogee Industries, which created the Apogee Industries Communication Pod and seemingly the Apogee Recycling System used in the Ectoflux armor[3] and the Hyperflux armor.[4]
Apogee continued searching for the Dimensionator. His work looking for it led to the Surinox Shard, which Zogg later used for the Helios Project. Apogee was eventually successful in finding it.[5]
Space pirates raided the Apogee Space Station years prior to Tools of Destruction, taking the lombax artifact. Apogee went after them,[1] eventually relocating the Dimensionator to Kerchu City, Jasindu.[5] He then placed his ship on autopilot, while leaving the dimension along with Angela Cross. During A Crack in Time, authorities obtained this ship, and traced its point of origin to Jasindu.[6]
