The Thundersmack glove in Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault
The Thundersmack was a weapon that generated storm clouds which shocked nearby enemies with bolts of lightning. Clouds generated by other team members' Thundersmacks combined into a bigger, more powerful cloud. The cloud would turn into a tempest strong enough to kill a gravoid brute. The elite version is shooting one cloud will make 6 six clouds circling the ground,dealing even more damage.
The Thundersmack is first available at the W.A.S.P. segment of Octonok Cay for 25,000 bolts, and becomes available to upgrade with additional bolts upon reaching the Kaleero Trail segment of Terawatt Forest. It is not upgraded with use, but its ammo can be upgraded for 10,000 bolts, and its power for 25,000 bolts. After purchasing the ammo and power upgrades, it can receive an elite upgrade for 60,000 bolts. Upon being upgraded to the Elite Thundersmack, the weapon not only had more lightning power but also had 5 little pieces of thunder storms near the thunder storm you launched making it powerful.

The Thundersmack later changed appearance. It deployed a beacon that generated clouds via a glove.
Behind the Scenes[]
In the Ratchet & Clank movie, when invading the Starship Phoenix, Clank ultimately defeats Victor Von Ion by rusting him up with a rainstorm created by a Thundersmack; it had no effect on Clank due to him being waterproof.
