A Serathoid nest
Serathoids were one-eyed spider-like creatures which inhabited the abandoned Zarkov Sector, as well as the Praxus Sector. When Ratchet approached them, they either dug into the ground or swiped at Ratchet with their claws. They were released by nearby Serathoid nests and they also appeared on Igliak.[1][2]
Behind the Scenes[]
In Neftin Prog's and Vendra Prog's bedroom at the Meero Orphanage, there exists crayon drawings of Serathoids. Interestingly, these depictions look more like real spiders than the actual Serathoids.
A glitch which sometimes occurred caused some Serathoids in the Azeril Caverns to be invisible.
