Courier ship concept art
The Courier ship was Ratchet's second vehicle in the original Ratchet & Clank. It served as a replacement to his original ship, which he had crash-landed on Novalis. It was given to him by the Planetary Chairman of Novalis to borrow, and was his main source of transportation for the first few levels of the game. However, Ratchet left it behind on the Planet Umbris after defeating the Blargian Snagglebeast, replacing it with Qwark's tour shuttle.
The Courier Ship was a bulky, boxy, van-like vessel with a dark green color scheme and at least six engine ports in the rear sides with two on the top of the rear. With evidence extracted from the appearance and motion, the Courier Ship has a below average comfort and slower than most of Ratchet's ships.
Trivia
- According to some unlockable sketches in Ratchet and Clank, this ship was designed to be like a mail truck.
