Combat bots were robots that Ratchet received when he was forced to enter in DreadZone. They were ordered to defend Ratchet and follow his orders.

Name Description Price
Go-Comet A Go-Comet A was the first of the four Go-Comet devices used to increase Combat Bots' armor and damage capailities. Go-Comet refused to comment on the details but warned that using this device on household electronics could be dangerous.
Go-Comet X Go-Comet X was the second of four Go-Comet devices used to increase Combat Bots' armor and damage capabilities. It was advised to use gloves and shower often.
Go-Comet XR Go-Comet XR was the third of four devices used to increase Ratchet's Combat Bots's armor and damage capabilities. The top secret components would give off an odour that would stay in the currently worn clothes while using it permanently.
Hyper-Tron Hyper-Tron was the fourth of four devices used to increase Combat Bots' armor and damage capabilities. This device required two people to lift, and one person to monitor the deadly amounts of radiation the device gave off. This was the most powerful upgrade to the Combat Bots.
Dreadinator Dreadinator was DreadZone's own Bot enhancement device. It was more powerful than Go-Comet's devices. Technicians happily circumvented all weapon manufacturing limitations, used only the finest in outlawed materials, and created a machine so powerful even Shellshock will not go near it. DZ Ultra DZ Ultra was an upgrade for the combat bots. It was an improved version of the DZ Dreadinator. It was said to be better because it says "ultra." It cost 200,000 bolts and was available in Challenge Mode after unlocking the Vindicator Tournament. 200,000
Ultranator Ultranator was a bot enhancement device for the combat bots. It was designed specifically for DreadZone style combat and said to give combat bots the power to fight the toughest of enemies. Paint Jobs

Name Description
The Royale The paint job was a royal blue, hence the name. It was originally the paint scheme of a DreadZone Champion bot.
The Gold Star The Gold Star was a paint job originally created by Gagnians for use on Gagnian Patrol Bots. However, the design later became open to Combat Bots. It was a yellow color, with golden-orange accents. The paint was once used exclusively by high-ranking Exterminators.
Gunner Grey Gunner Grey was a paint job based on Trezor Elite Troop armor that was available for the Combat Bots.
The Assassin It was hand-painted by Big Al.
The Commando It was the paint scheme of the armor used by the Grunt Troop during the Battle of Catacrom Four.
Pale Rider The Pale Rider was one of the paint jobs for the Combat Bots. It was a copy of the clothing worn by the ancient guardians of the Temple of Shaar.
Elium Shocker The Elium Shocker a Combat Bot paint job. It was a copy of the colors used by the Aquatos National Protection Force.
The Destroyer The Destroyer was one of the Combat Bot's paint jobs. It was a slightly modified copy of the colors of the Kronos Peace Keeper's armor.
The Dragon The Dragon was one of the Combat Bots paint jobs. It was a replica of the armor of members of the Valix Network Security Corp.
Bruiser Machine Bruiser Machine was one of the paint jobs for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was a copy of the colors of the clothing worn by the Sarathosian Swamp Jaggas.
The Firestorm The Firestorm was one of the paint jobs for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was a copy of the armor worn by the Knights of Tempus.

Heads

Name Description
Crash V6 Crash V6 was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was a modified Go-Comet crash test helmet. Big Al added a crack proof glass on the visor, six High Stack sensors, and an internal code reader that plays Big Al's top forty favourite songs, including "Shamus on Youmus" and "I Love You so Much I'd Eat Dirt."
Gate Keeper Gate Keeper was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was a rare find, and was originally worn by the Tron-Del warriors. The helmets were made for the sleek and silent attackers, fearless raiders, and fighters of truth and justice.
Cyclone Cyclone was one of the head styles for the Dreadzone Combat Bots. It was designed by Big Al. Going for simplicity, the ocular sensors were merged into one frontal piece. As a back-up, targeting information displayed visually if the bot's central computer was damaged. Al said it was the original helmet design for a mysterious superhero named Al-Man.
Bounty Hunter Bounty Hunter was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was designed by Big Al. It was based on the helmet worn by Jet Baxter in Al's favourite movie Mandles, Sandals For Men: The Saga Continues. The movie was a flop, but the helmet gained massive acclaim.
DreadZone 3030 DreadZone 3030 was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It was the standard head for all DreadZone combat bots, and was equipped with DreadZone communications software, and layers of 2-ply Orxonian plate armor.
ShellShock ShellShock was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It is the head of ShellShock, only shrunk down to fit a Combat Bot. It can only be activated through a cheat.
Reactor Reactor was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It is the head of Reactor, only shrunk down to fit a Combat Bot. It can only be activated through a cheat.
The Eviscerator The Eviscerator was one of the head styles for the DreadZone Combat Bots. It is the head of The Eviscerator, only shrunk down to fit a Combat Bot. It can only be activated through a cheat.

Behind the scenes

  • In a video on GameSpot, Merc and Green had legs. Template:Fact They also had legs on the Japanese cover. Template:Fact Green also mentions that he had his legs blasted off after the player obtained him.
